The activity also provided employment consultants with key knowledge areas to support participants and others on their caseload to gain meaningful employment in the region.

This activity involved delivery of a seven-week online training course to prepare participants for entry-level roles in the disability care sector. The course curriculum was tailored to align with local industry needs and role requirements and co-designed with local disability care employers. Delivery of the activity also included mentoring and career coaching to assist participants during training and while transitioning to employment, facilitated placements into sustainable jobs and ongoing mentoring support following job placements.
