Registration is now open for the Health and Safety Representative (HSR) Train-the trainer program on Psychosocial Hazards
In the 2023-24 Budget the Government committed funding for the development and delivery of the Train-the-Trainer Program for Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) on Psychosocial Hazards. The training program provides HSR trainers in the Commonwealth with a deeper understanding of psychosocial risks and hazards in line with the 2023 amendments to the Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth) and the Commonwealth codes of practice on psychosocial hazards and sexual and gender-based harassment.
HSR trainers will receive up-to-date information and resources on the identification and management of psychosocial hazards in the workplace.
The program will involve the completion of a series of online modules, followed by participation in a 3-day face-to-face workshop designed to provide practical guidance for trainers on how to effectively deliver information on psychosocial hazards to HSRs. Training workshops are taking place from 11 March 2025 through 12 June 2025 in all capital cities.
The training is being offered free of charge (including travel and accommodation for face-to-face workshops) however, conditions may apply.
