Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements and Completing Apprenticeship Commencements

From 30 June 2022, the Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements (BAC) and Completing Apprenticeship Commencements (CAC) Program closed to new entrants.

All BAC and CAC claims for wages paid between 1 January 2022 and 30 June 2023 must be submitted by 31 December 2023. Claims will not be accepted beyond 31 December 2023.

The BAC and CAC wage subsidies were time-limited interventions that have supported businesses and Group Training Organisations to take on new apprentices and trainees during the economic recovery from the impacts of COVID-19. Eligibility criteria are outlined in the Australian Apprenticeships Incentives Program Guidelines.

All BAC and CAC claims for wages paid between 1 January 2022 and 30 June 2023 can be accessed through the Department's Apprenticeships Data Management System (ADMS) and must be submitted by 31 December 2023. BAC and CAC claims for wages paid between 1 January 2022 and 30 June 2023 will not be accepted beyond 31 December 2023.

CAC claims for wages paid between 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2025 must be submitted by 31 December 2025.
