Job description

A Crane Dogger is responsible for the following activities on a worksite:

  • Application of slinging techniques
  • Determining the weight of the load to be lifted
  • Selection and inspection of lifting gear
  • Directing a crane operator in the movement of a load via the use of radio communication, whistles and hand signals

The employers are looking for people who are:

Prerequisites required:

  • Have a Drivers Licence (P Plates are okay)
  • Able to pass a National Police Check*
  • Able to pass a drug and alcohol test*
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical
    *at no cost to you
