The Self-Employment Assistance program is delivered in 51 Employment Regions offering participants a range of flexible and tailored services to:
• consider being self-employed
• decide on a business idea and check if it will work
• develop a business plan
• get a business up and running, or
• adjust your own business to keep it viable.
The Self-Employment Assistance program replaced the New Business Assistance with NEIS program in July 2022.
