The Hon Brendan O’Connor MP, Minister for Skills and Training, has announced Professor Barney Glover AO has been appointed as the Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA) Commissioner. Professor Barney Glover is an eminently qualified, knowledgeable and experienced candidate to lead JSA. 

Professor Glover’s five-year term as JSA Commissioner will begin in April 2024, following a rigorous merit-based selection process. His extensive expertise in university management and business leadership will greatly benefit JSA's mandate to address Australia’s workforce skills and training needs.
