The activity developed Individual Client Plans to engage participants through to paid employment for a minimum of 20 hours per week within social enterprise community services or through a supported pathway to a range of employment and training opportunities in the Fitzroy Employment Region.

This activity involved a tailored pre-employment training program aimed at meeting employer needs and providing participants a start in the timber industry. The pre-employment program includes a Certificate II in Saw Milling, and familiarisation through placement in a paid work trial in timber mills in the Maryborough area. The training was designed to attract people to the timber industry.
