In establishing the Skills Organisations (SO) Pilot program the Australian Government supported an independent evaluation of the program. The evaluation was undertaken by a consortia comprising Urbis Pty Ltd and ARTD Ltd and was progressed through two separate but interrelated projects:
- Project 1 – an assessment of the establishment phase of the SO Pilots.
Skills Organisation Pilots Evaluation Project 1 – Implementation Review Report.
- Project 2 – an assessment of the early achievements of the SO Pilots against the broader policy objectives of the program.
Skills Organisation Pilots Evaluation Project 2 – Early achievements and lessons learnt.
Lessons learnt from this evaluation informed broader improvements to the national VET system, including industry engagement reforms.
