The department has released 2 Requests for Tender to deliver services under the Self-Employment Assistance Program 2022–27 and the Entrepreneurship Facilitator Program 2022–25 from 1 July 2022.

The Self-Employment Assistance program will replace the current New Business Assistance with NEIS program in 51 Employment Regions around Australia. The Self-Employment Assistance program will provide a range of services for current and aspiring business owners, ranging from flexible individual Business Advice Sessions to a structured 12-month package of Comprehensive Services. The program’s flexibility allows people to choose the support that best fits their needs to run a successful small business.

The Entrepreneurship Facilitator Program will deliver a range of services to support entrepreneurship and self-employment in 23 Entrepreneurship Facilitator Regions.

The department is seeking tender responses from individuals and organisations with the interest, knowledge and experience to support Australians to start and run a successful small business and assist existing micro-business owners to improve their business.
