On 17 November 2023, we celebrated the inspiring achievements of high-performing apprentices, students, training providers, teachers and businesses at the Australian Training Awards’ 30th anniversary gala event in Hobart, Tasmania.
Delivered by the National Careers Institute, the Australian Training Awards are the peak national awards recognising our nation's vibrant vocational education and training (VET) sector.
The Hon Brendan O’Connor MP, Minister for Skills and Training, hosted the event and praised the winners and finalists for their dedication and successes.
“We applaud the commitment and achievement of people in the VET sector, the best students, trainees and apprentices and the excellence of teachers and trainers. Education and training unlock the potential that is inside all of us, enabling us to aspire to more, and giving people power over their own future,” Minister O’Connor said.
Congratulations to everyone involved.
Australian Training Awards winners, runners-up and finalists are invited to join the exclusive Australian VET Alumni, a national community of VET ambassadors that encourage greater participation and best practice in VET.
