A range of in-language information and resources about Self-Employment Assistance and how the program supports Australian small business owners is available online.
Workforce Australia Self-Employment Assistance helps Australian small business owners turn their business into a viable one or turn a business idea into reality.
To raise awareness about Self-Employment Assistance and its services, program participants from different CALD communities shared their own experiences with the program and how it helped improve their existing business, including the range of services accessed.
Participants were from Arabic, Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Vietnamese speaking communities and conveyed their story in-language to better connect with people. An additional suite of communication products, such as information materials, infographics, flyers and videos, were developed to promote the program and can be accessed online. The products are designed to be shared to provide information to people interested in starting their own business or need support and guidance for their existing business.
