This content was published on Monday 3 July 2023. There may be more recent updates available.

On 16 May 2023, the Government announced an independent review of the Federal Safety Commissioner led by Ms Marie Boland. The Review is an opportunity for stakeholders to have their say on the Federal Safety Commissioner, the Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme, and identify areas where improvements could be made.

A public discussion paper is now live examining issues guided by the Review’s Terms of Reference.

Comments received during public consultations will help inform a final report to Government by the end of 2023.
