From 31 March 2025, the New Energy Apprenticeships Mentoring Program will officially conclude.
The program was designed to complement the additional incentives for apprentices through the provision of personalised mentoring, peer support and networking opportunities. This was done to support Australian apprentices undertaking apprenticeships with a clean energy pathway during the early years of their apprenticeship.
The mentoring program's tailored approach has helped apprentices build confidence, gain industry-specific knowledge, and create important professional connections that will serve them well throughout their careers.
Contracts were awarded to 4 Providers (Australian Renewables Academy, VERTO, MEGT and Sarina Russo) for an initial 12-month period with services commencing from 15 April 2024.
We extend our gratitude to the Providers for their dedication and hard work over the past year. Their commitment to fostering the next generation of clean energy professionals has been truly inspiring, and their efforts have laid a strong foundation for future success.
As we transition away from the New Energy Apprenticeships Mentoring Program, we encourage apprentices to take full advantage of the resources and support available through their Apprentice Connect Australia Provider.
