Independent review of the temporary JobKeeper provisions of the Fair Work Act
The Coronavirus Economic Response Package Omnibus (Measures No. 2) Act 2020 temporarily introduced a new Part 6-4C into the Fair Work Act 2009. These were known as the JobKeeper provisions. Under section 789GZB of the Fair Work Act, the Minister for Industrial Relations was required to affect an independent review of the operation of the temporary JobKeeper provisions.
We engaged Nous Group to conduct this review. During the review, Nous Group consulted with employer and employee representatives, as well as the Fair Work Ombudsman and Fair Work Commission. They also used relevant survey and other data on the use and impact of the temporary amendments.
The final report of the independent review was tabled in Parliament on 20 October 2020.

Single-enterprise agreement making and approval process map and user-centred analysis
In October 2019, we engaged Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to analyse and map the single-enterprise agreement making and approval process and undertake user-centred analysis of this process.
Improving protections of employees' wages and entitlements: further strengthening the civil compliance and enforcement framework - discussion paper
This paper sought input from the community about the operation of the compliance and enforcement framework. It followed a paper issued on 19 September 2019, titled Improving protections of employee's wages and entitlements: strengthening penalties for non-compliance, which considered the penalty framework in the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth). Discussion questions were included to guide feedback; however, stakeholders could also provide further information and suggestions relevant to the matters discussed.

Cooperative Workplaces discussion paper
The purpose of the paper is to collect and collate the techniques, structures and practices that produce the most mutually beneficial and productive workplaces for both employees and employers.
This discussion paper seeks feedback on practical experiences and techniques of best practice in cooperative workplaces. It seeks views (by way of written submissions) on improved productivity performance through more harmonious workplaces. While this paper has specific questions, submissions may provide any information and make suggestions relevant to the overall topic of the paper.

The Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency's role and functions was reviewed five years after its establishment. The final report from the review was tabled before Parliament on 27 November 2019.
Project life greenfields agreements discussion paper
The Australian Government invited submissions on the greenfields enterprise agreement provisions in the Fair Work Act 2009 and views on whether and how enterprise agreements might be applied for the life of greenfields projects.
